Cancellation policy:

• 15 days prior to the date of arrival you will receive a full refund minus a processing fee of $25.00.
• 14-7 days prior to the date of arrival you will forfeit the deposit of the reservation.
• Less than 6 days prior to the date of arrival you will forfeit the cost of the entire stay.

While certainly a factor beyond our control, inclement weather does not constitute a valid reason for a reservation cancellation. Our cancellation policy remains in effect even when reservations are affected by weather related circumstances.

Deposit: A deposit equal to the first night’s room rate and tax is required at the time of booking via credit card. The remaining balance will be charged on the day of your arrival. Personal checks are not accepted.

Age Requirement: To ensure the best experience for all guests, the hotel requires at least one registered guest to be 25 years of age or older to reserve and occupy a room. Reservations made prior to June 1, 2026, under the former 21+ policy, will be honored. The registered guest must be present at check-in and stay for the duration of the reservation. Identification is required. Misrepresentation voids reservation and forfeits deposit. Once checked in, there are no modifications or cancellations. You are responsible for your entire stay as outlined on the registration form.

Smoking Policy: The Oceanic Hotel is a smoke-free property. A $250 cleaning fee will be applied if smoking of any kind (including cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, or vaping) occurs in guest rooms.

Pets: Only service animals, as defined by the ADA, are permitted.

Housekeeping: Daily housekeeping includes trash removal and fresh towels. Bed linens and bed-making are available upon request.

Parking: We offer limited on-site parking, including two accessible parking spaces. An additional unpaved overflow parking lot is available on Burk Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and Pacific Avenue. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pool Use: The outdoor pool and hot tub are open seasonally, weather permitting, from approximately 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM. The Oceanic Hotel pool does not have a lifeguard. Guests assume full responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. A parent or responsible adult (25+) must be present whenever children 16 or younger are in the pool area. Children 16 and under are not permitted in the spa at any time. Please follow all posted rules for safety. All guests must comply with local and state laws, and no outside food or beverages are permitted in the pool area.
